Paramedical Institute for Education & Research (PIER) was established in early 2000 and associated with various Universities. The Institute is empowered to offer degrees and diplomas based on the result of examinations and tests and to confer, grant, award degrees, diplomas, Certificates and other academic titles and distinctions as per provisions of UGC Act and Rules and Regulations framed there under. In line with same mission and vision, PIER has taken the initiative to provide immediate and definite interventions to improve the lives of disadvantaged and marginalized youth, especially who are excluded by the formal school education system through appropriate vocational training programmes. The aim is to facilitate vocational training to students to build their competencies to perform equal to their counterparts in developed countries, take them through work integrated skill development thus enabling their career and livelihood.

PIER offers courses approved by  All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).
